Enjoy a Classic ‘White Christmas’ at Abilene’s Paramount Theatre December 10-11

Want tickets to see White Christmas at the Paramount Theatre?
White Christmas has a run time of two hours and twenty minutes. Tickets for this beloved holiday musical film are $7 general admission and $6 for students, children, seniors over 60, and military service personnel; you can purchase tickets here.
The trailer below gives you a pretty good idea of the iconic song-and-dance numbers that have made the 1954 film iconic over the years:
The film opens in 1944 when Broadway star Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and tag-along Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) entertain their fellow servicemembers and staunch but beloved General on the front lines. Davis saves Wallace's life during a surprise attack, and Wallace becomes obligated to partner with Davis.
Their duo act is a major hit post-war, and the two find themselves launching hit musicals. They meet a sister act, Betty and Judy (Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen), and two romances ensue.
The men accompany the sisters to Vermont, where they're scheduled for holiday performances for a country inn. Upon arriving, not only is their former General the landlord of the inn, but he's aging and the inn is in danger of bankruptcy. As a favor for "an old pal in the army," Wallace and Davis bring their opulent stage show to Vermont, including the sister act, hoping to attract visitors to the inn.

The couples fake engagements, break up, makeup, and perform a dazzling Old Hollywood finale for the General himself, saving the inn and ushering in a picture-perfect white Christmas.
