Parental Lunch Visits Are Coming Back To Abilene ISD In Late November
Here's good news for parents that want to have lunch with their children. The Abilene Independent School District (AISD) has updated its health and safety protocols. Beginning on Monday, November 29th, AISD will allow parents and/or their guardians on campus to have lunch with their children.
However, some protocols will have to be followed as well as all AISD health and safety procedures. For example, the use of face coverings is "strongly recommended" for all staff, students, and on-campus guests.

As an integral part of Abilene ISD’s safety plan for in-person instruction was the creation of health and safety protocols designed to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
AISD will continue to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) for all students and employees. Additionally, elementary and middle school students will be seated in order to allow for maximum social distancing and there will be assigned seating.
