Eating Lions Club Spaghetti Helps Send Kids to Summer Camp
The 43rd annual Cactus Lions Club and John Massey Memorial Spaghetti Supper is Saturday, March 7TH, from 4 PM till 8 PM at the First Baptist Church cafeteria, 1333 North Second Street, Abilene. This fundraiser helps send handicapped children to the Lions Club camp in Kerrville.
Spot vision testing will be available for all children and adults with a paid spaghetti supper ticket. Tickets can be purchased in Advance from Club Members or at the door. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children under. For tickets or additional information please call 210-347-2724
Lions Club members claim to have the best tasting spaghetti sauce hands down. What I know from past experience is that the spaghetti is good and it's all you can eat, so come hungry.
Remember, leave room for dessert because club members wives prepare and sell homemade goodies such as pies, cakes, cookies and more. Deserts are available at an additional cost
