The Eagles Set to Make Debut at Grand Ole Opry House
The Eagles will perform their very first performance at Nashville's iconic venue the Grand Ole Opry House on Oct. 29. The concert is a special invitation-only event for SiriusXM listeners; the lineup for the evening will include Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Grand Ole Opry member Vince Gill.
Gill and Frey -- who is the son of the late Glenn Frey -- played two shows with the group earlier this year and are part of their current fall tour schedule.
“The Eagles performing at the Grand Ole Opry House will be an unforgettable evening,” said Eagles manager Irving Azoff, adding that SiriusXM is the perfect partner for the event.
The concert will air on SiriusXM’s Eagles Channel, which is a limited-run channel presented by the band over Thanksgiving Weekend. The channel will feature music from the band’s overall career as well as their solo records and musical influences influences, airing from mid-November through the holidays.
