Food Guaranteed to Make Dad Happy This Father’s Day

You can't go wrong with any slab of meat, but there isn't a dad on the planet that doesn't enjoy a heaping plate of brisket, sausage and/or ribs.

This southern classic is a must have on all man-food lists. Don't forget a heaping helping of mashed taters and white, cream gravy.

Obviously, dad probably wants to spend Father's Day on the couch. So, why not serve up a huge plate of hot wings.

If he doesn't like em hot, throw some BBQ sauce on the chicken and you're good to go.

Oh yeah, make sure he has plenty of napkins and cold beer.

If you're gonna go the frozen pizza route, don't be a cheapskate and get one of those paper thin dollar jobs. Get dad a pizza (or two) that has substance.

Dad isn't picky, you can't go wrong with a deep dish from Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Papa Johns, Domino's, or Pizza Pro.

You can never go wrong with a cheeseburger.

Seriously.

You can never put too much cheese on one as well.

So, fire up your grill, toss on at least a half pound patty then finish it off with about 5 slices of good cheese and dad will love you forever.

When I say good cheese, I mean the stuff that actually melts, not the stuff that looks like burned plastic.

All men love nachos.

This is another item you can't screw up...unless you put sour cream on it and your dad is lactose intolerant.

Like the cheeseburger, nachos require a lot of melted cheese.

If price is no issue and you want to be dad's favorite child, then buy your dad the thickest t-bone you can find and toss that bad boy on the grill and watch his mouth water.

The only way you can screw this up is if you burn it. If you do, you might as well hand the 'favorite child' award to your brother or sister.

Sounds so simple, but jalapeno poppers are a favorite for all dads out there.

Clean out the seeds, stuff in some cream cheese or even shrimp, wrap in thick bacon then toss em on the grill.

Once the bacon is crisp, bring them to dad and you'll be his favorite kid.
