Biscuit, Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Casserole – Shay’s Recipe of the Week
This breakfast is super simple and a crowd pleaser all in one. I've made it for several gatherings and everyone always comments on how good it is.
The next time you have family or friends coming make this casserole and you will be known as the best hostess ever!
You only need 5 ingredients, a skillet and a 9x13 baking pan. You will be amazed at how easy this it going to be.
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 can Grands biscuits (or 2 cans regular biscuits)
- 6-8 eggs
- 16 oz. Sharp Cheddar cheese (grated)
- milk (about 3/4c.)
Preheat oven to 350. The first step is to fry and crumble the sausage. While you are frying the sausage quarter the biscuits and place in a greased 9x13 pan.
Next, in a bowl, add your milk and eggs and mix together...most people call this scrambled eggs! (salt and pepper to taste)
Add your sausage and pour your egg mixture over your quartered biscuits.
Place in 350 degree oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until eggs are done. In the last couple of minutes cooking sprinkle cheese over casserole and let melt.
And there it is, a quick, easy breakfast casserole that is sure to please everyone! P.S. you can also pour white gravy over your individual servings for a few extra calories and taste! Enjoy.
