West Texas Helps Victims of Dallas-Fort Worth Tornadoes
It’s hundreds of miles away, but the Metroplex is receiving help from West Texas.
“Right now, we have two Lubbock individuals who are in Dallas as we speak, helping feed people and helping with clean-up efforts there in the Dallas area,” said Shannon Smith, the executive director of the South Plains Chapter of the American Red Cross.
And donations are needed
“We would encourage anyone to make a $10 donation by texting 90999, or calling the Lubbock office chapter to make a donation.” That number is 806-765-8534.
