The Big Country is in for a treat come Thursday, July 29th when some big country artists come to town to play Doc's Fest. Best of all, the festival extends to the 30th, so you get two days of live music for just one low ticket price. The event also benefits Meals on Wheels, with a portion of the proceeds going to that great charity.

The legendary Bellamy Brothers will headline Thursday night's show. Also on the bill is Cody Canada and The Departed. Those two acts, alone, are easily worth the price of admission. Rounding out Thursday's festivities will be Josh Ward, Kody West, and Dylan Wheeler.

Day two of Doc's Fest, Friday, July 30th, will feature some of our best hometown talent with Parkside, Dexter and the Moonrocks, Krys Campos and the Clueless, and Merkaba.

Again, two days, just one ticket price.

Doc's Fest is taking place at The Potosi Pavilion located at 2822 Potosi Road. Doors open at 4 pm, both days, with the music kicking off at 5:30 pm. Also, it's a BYOB event, with a $30 cooler charge, so grab that cooler and lawn chair and get ready for two awesome nights of live music.

Tickets are available online here and are $30, but will increase to $40 on Thursday, July 22nd. Either way, that's a super inexpensive ticket for so many incredible bands.

VIP tickets are available, as well, and come with a free lawn chair (which you can take home) as well as access to the VIP area in front of the stage.
