Ten Guys You’ll Meet at the Bar in Abilene

This is the guy who walks into the bar, wearing his work suit, with a wallet full of cash and flaunts it. He buys everyone's drinks all night to make himself seem popular. Only thing is...the people he's buying drinks for will only be around as long as the cash is, these aren't REAL friends.

The guy who comes to the bar AFTER he's worked out, and hopefully showered. He's usually wearing clothes that are a size to small in order to show off his muscles. And they like to look in every mirror they pass by.

Oh, you know this guy. He's the one that's so cool no one else in the bar comes close. He's got all the swagger and style, knows all the right things to say, has all the right friends and has probably dated every girl within arms reach....or wants to. He doesn't have a 'type' of girl; he likes 'all' girls.

This is the guy who stands back and watches more than anything. He may or may not approach you, but if he does it's like pulling to teeth to have a conversation. He wants to ask you out but may not have the confidence to do so.

This guy wants to be 'seen' and is usually quite obnoxious. He will yell at his buddy's from across the bar just so you turn and look. He appears to be the most fun guy in the room. More than likely before the night is over he will be thrown out of the bar or end up in a fight....you know, cuz of his mouth.

This is the guy who doesn't need a girl. He's got his friends, is confident in himself (but not overly so), can talk with girls but fits in with the guys too. He's probably not looking for anything except to hang out and have a drink or two and then he's off to do his own thing. I like these guys!

Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again? You must be tired, because you've been running through my dreams all night? Need I say more!----Avoid, avoid, avoid.

This guy tries to compensate for his short comings, whatever they maybe, by being the jokester. He's going to go out of his way to impress with his humor and quick wit. Maybe it works, maybe not, but they are usually pretty fun.

This guy tries to impress with his smarts but sometimes comes off a know it all and makes you try to feel inferior. He gets defensive if you correct him on his grammar or a false piece of info he's thrown your way. Move on you don't need this kind of negativity in your life.

He stares a little too long, becomes intrusive, follows you around or maybe just gives off a bad vibe. My advice on this one is ..... run, really fast.
