Big changes are coming to SNAP benefits in Texas starting April 1. Lone Star Card users will no longer be able to purchase candy, gum, or many sugary drinks with their benefits.

Texas is adding a few more items to their "do not buy" list and fans of sweets and candies aren't going to like it. Even some fruits and nuts are no longer allowed.
