The Westboro Baptist Church is at it again. The fundamentalist and anti-gay group has announced it will picket the funeral of former first lady Betty Ford, who died last week, because she got divorced before marrying the man who would later become President Gerald Ford. This, the group says, made her an adulterer who "loved to sit with tawdry reporters and blather about sex."

Next summer, TNT will take TV viewers back to Texas for a reboot of the long-running primetime soap 'Dallas,' promising plenty of sex, drama and, of course, oil. McDain's Restaurant, in suburban Pittsburgh, isn't what you would call a kid-friendly establishment. The eatery has instituted a new policy banning children younger than six beginning this coming Sunday.

In a move watched carefully by some 20 cities and states, Connecticut has become the first state in the nation to mandate paid sick days for workers. The bill, signed by Governor Dannel Malloy earlier this month, covers only hourly service workers at companies with more than 50 employees and excludes manufacturers and some others.
