Are you ready for some summer fun, rodeo-style playdays? If you are, then you're in for a big treat, because Clyde's Cowboy Church located at 9005 Texas Highway 36 West, between Abilene and Clyde, Texas is hosting a summer fun playday for the entire family.
As summer continues to heat up, more and more rodeo events are put on hold until the cooler Fall and early Winter months. But not at the Second Chance Cowboy Church. They are heating things up with their "Summer Playdays" coming up on June 25th, 2022.
The series of rodeo events are scheduled for Saturday, June 25th, with books opening up at 8:30 AM. The scheduled events for this playday are poles, goat tying, and barrels. The competitions will be held from 9 AM until about 12 noon.
The competitors will be broken up into separate age groups starting with kids ages 6 and under, 7 to 9 year-olds, 10 to 12 year-olds, 13 to 15 year-olds, 16 to 19 year-olds, and the open class. Everyone is welcome to compete. The cost is only $5 per event and $5 for exhibitions, with a limit of three. The payback will be 50% and will be based on the number of entrants per class.
Everyone is invited to the playday events and church services on Sunday
The Second Chance Cowboy Church is inviting you to attend the 'Summer Playdays' and/or their Church services as well." Church services are Sunday mornings from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM, and on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM. The Pastor at the Church is Terry Simmons.
