The now-infamous "panty burglar" has struck again in the Lufkin Area. The Lufkin Daily News reports that the incident is the 17th burglary in the area that involves the removal of women's and girls' underwear. The incidents have been occurring over the past couple of years.

Most of the incidents have occurred around FM 58 in Beulah to Burke near the Angelina County Airport. Other incidents have occurred in the Diboll city limits. Local law enforcement is frustrated with the situation, and encourages people to be vigilant, and keep their eyes open. The most recent burglary happened close to the Lufkin city limits, and actually has a Chestnut st. address.
