News/Talk 1470 KYYW is Now Broadcasting on 94.7 FM

Something that has been years in the making is now here: News/Talk 1470 KYYW is now broadcasting on FM.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Townsquare Media of Abilene officially activated KYYW's new FM simulcast on 94.7 FM.

KYYW's current programming lineup is being completely simulcast on 94.7 FM, in addition to also being aired on 1470 AM, streaming online at 1470KYYW.com, and streamed through the KYYW App. With the addition of 94.7 FM to KYYW that means for the first time in Abilene you'll be able to hear Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Robert Pratt, and Gordon Deal on FM.

94.7 FM is a simulcast frequency specifically authorized by the FCC for 1470 KYYW. It is designed to be heard in Abilene, northern Taylor County, and southern Jones County.

As part of the addition of 94.7 FM to KYYW, KYYW's on-air moniker will change to "News/Talk 94.7 FM and 1470 AM, KYYW". However, our website address will continue to be 1470KYYW.com. KYYW will also continue to have social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter.
