Kacey Musgraves has been hustling hard across the talk show circuit to promote her recent holiday album A Very Kacey Christmas. As part of that promo she released a glittery, retro music video for the collection's somber final track, a cover of the 1947 Frank Loesser song, "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?"

The video sees Musgraves -- wearing a long, sequined gown -- performing the track in front of a giant clock, on a stage set for celebration.

Further along in the clip, Musgraves holds a puppy close to her chest while seated atop a giant crescent moon which isn't necessarily a seasonal decoration, but is delightful nonetheless. Photo proof of that moment:

The Pageant Material singer tweeted about the video just before its release, writing, "New video coming tmrw..just a little eye candy celebrating 1 of the most glittery yet melancholy parts of the year," along with a photo of the aforementioned moon.
