Texas Roadhouse is a fan favorite all over the place, but especially here in Lubbock, Texas. On any given day you would not be surprised to find them totally packed, especially on the weekends.

Something about those rolls just has you coming back for more.

While it is no surprise that there are Texas Roadhouse locations found all over the United States, you might be surprised by how many locations they have internationally. They have restaurants in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Philippines, Taiwan, Mexico, China, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.

With all those countries combined, including the US, they have over 600 locations.

One location in particular, seems to be the best one to go to if you want to enjoy their food without the wait.

The only problem is it is located in Shanghai, China.

Toni Fine posted to TikTok On March 31st, 2024, sharing her experience eating at this Shanghai location. She mentioned that they had been eating plenty of local Chinese cuisine, but wanted a taste of home, so they gave it a try.

There was no wait, it was totally empty, but the food was apparently just like we are used to here in the US.

The rolls seemed delicious, the steak looked just right, and the whole ambiance of the restaurant was just like usual. They also have both English and mandarin menu options.

So, if you are traveling in Shanghai and really miss the food you have at home, now you know that you can get it without the wait.
