Wendy’s Suddenly Closes One Tyler Restaurant
(Tyler, Texas) With the sudden closure of Wendy's on Tyler's SSW Loop 323, Tyler residents have been left wondering two things:
- Where's the Beef?
- How can I dip my fries into a Frosty?
One Tyler Wendy's Closes Permanently
Wendy's Hamburgers had two locations in Tyler, Texas. Now, one location is permanently closed while the other location is closed for repairs.

What Happened to Tyler's Wendy's Locations?
It is one of the best food combinations: dipping hot salty fries into a chocolate Frosty at Wendy's. It was just irresistible. At the close of business on Friday, July 17, the Wendy's at the corner of SSW Loop 323 and Highway 155 permanently closed. The second location on W Front Street may reopen. At this time, there is no timeline for when it will reopen, just a message that reads 'Closed For Repairs' on the marquee.
Dining room furniture and menu boards have been removed from the drive-thru at the Loop 323 location with signs stating, 'Now Closed. Sorry, this location is now closed.' No specific reason was given for the sudden closure of this location; whether the decision to close was a corporate or franchise decision remains unknown.
