When you think of nice restaurant near the shore, the state of Texas probably does not come to mind. However, we're apparently missing a hidden gem in our state.

Yelp Releases List of Best Oceanside Restaurants

Who doesn't love a nice meal with a view. If you live on the coast, nothing beats a nice dinner with waves crashing onto the shore not too far away. Obviously, you have to live in an area to be able to experience this. However, if you're planning a trip to the beach this summer. Yelp just released the best restaurants with an Oceanside view.

Best in the Country? The Marine Room in California

Not shocking that a California coastal restaurant took the top spot. The Marine Room looks absolutely stunning and probably deserves that number one spot. Hawaii and Florida also took several spots in the top twenty. However, the great state of Texas was not going to be left out of this list and got in at number eighteen.

Jimmy's On The Pier in Galveston, Texas

The lone Texas restaurant to make the list is Jimmy's On The Pier. Unlike many of the restaurants on the list. Jimmy's has a laid back atmosphere from what I am seeing and not so much on the fancy side. They specialize in southern seafood, tacos, and burgers. Plus you can't beat that view.
