Here in Texas, we have some of the biggest, most legendary, artists of all time from George Strait to ZZ Top to Post Malone. Once you reach a certain stature, like those 3, you're always in the eye of the public. So, it should come as no surprise that these celebrities have their own brand of beer, wine, or liquor.

From beer to wine to bourbon and beyond, these musicians are leveraging their "social influencer" status to make a couple of extra bucks while enjoying a good buzz.

Heck, I'd do the same if I could.

If you're wondering how good these brands are, then check this out. Esquire Magazine ranked the "celebrity booze" from best to worst and here's how some of these Texas brands faired.

  • #5 - Código 1530 Tequila: George Strait
  • #22 - Villa One Tequila: Nick Jonas
  • #54 - Brown Sugar Bourbon: Jamie Foxx

So, let's take a look at the Texas musicians who have their own booze brand.

Drink Up: Texas Musicians with Their Own Booze Brand

It seems everyone is a social influencer nowadays, but there aren't any bigger than the musicians we follow. So, it totally makes sense that these artists have their own beer, wine, and liquor brands to push.

If any of those brands tempt your tastebuds or belly, then you can find them at your local package liquor store, like Filo or Big Johnson. You can also find some of them at stores like H-E-B and Marketstreet as well as restaurants like Taylor County Taphouse.

Please remember to always drink responsibly.

Not only do we have a bunch of musicians with their own brand of spirits, but we've also got some pretty tasty brands made right here in the Lone Star State.

How does Texas compare to the other states when it comes to beer?

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery.
