UPDATE: Missing Texas Giraffe Gracie Has Been Found After Winning the Internet
UPDATE: According to multiple news sources, Gracie, the missing giraffe in Texas, has been found safe and sound. Great news for the animal, but I think I'm going to miss all of the memes.
Original Story
At this point, I'm starting to think Gracie, the missing giraffe, isn't lost at all. She's just living her best life while the rest of Texas keeps Photoshopping...well...A.I.-ing her into every possible place imaginable.
If you've been on Facebook lately, you've probably seen it. One minute, Gracie's hanging out at a local mechanic shop. Then next, she's grabbing a drink at a bar, working a shift somewhere she probably shouldn't be, or somehow showing up at businesses all across Texas, including our friends over at Outlaw Automotive.

Honestly? The memes have almost become more entertaining than the actual search.

Texas Humor Is Undefeated
You've got to love Texans. Give us one missing giraffe, and within 24 hours, we've turned it into the biggest inside joke on the internet.
Every time I scroll Facebook, somebody has created another A.I. image of Gracie casually standing in line at Buc-ee's, posing with someone's business sign, or acting like she's been a lifelong resident of whatever town she's "visited" that day.
I won't lie...I've laughed at more than a few of them. Heck, we even have Gracie taking over my spot on the radio!

She's Still Actually Missing
Underneath all the jokes, Gracie really is still missing after escaping from a ranch in the Texas Hill Country as of this writing. Search crews have used helicopters, drones, trail cameras, and volunteers, but somehow an animal that's roughly 11 feet tall has managed to stay hidden.
That's honestly impressive.
Keep The Laughs Coming... Maybe Someone Will Actually Spot Her

The internet has officially adopted Gracie as Texas's newest celebrity, and honestly, I'm all about it!
So if you make another hilarious A.I. photo of Gracie shopping at H-E-B, getting her oil changed, or hanging out at your favorite local business...keep 'em coming.
Just don't be too surprised if someone eventually posts the one picture that's actually real. Hopefully, she’s found safe and sound.
