The Dallas Cowboys drove the length of the field and scored a touchdown in the final minutes to squeak out a 27-23 win against the Houston Texans on Sunday. The win was not a pretty win for the Cowboys but even uglier were the comments that came pouring in about quarterback Dak Prescott on Twitter after the win.

The Cowboys hosted the one-win Houston Texans at AT&T Stadium on Sunday. On paper, this game should have been a blowout for the Cowboys. But, to Houston's credit, they hung in there, played tough, and capitalized on several Dallas mistakes.

It's safe to say that quarterback Dak Prescott didn't exactly have a stellar game. Dak only completed 24 out of his 39 passes for 284 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. One of those interceptions was thrown on the Cowboys' own 3-yard line.

It seemed that Dak had a pretty crappy game for whatever reason. The combination of poor playing calling, lack of execution, and Dak's poor play, in general, kept a potent Dallas offense attack at bay all game while a hungry Houston team took advantage of the mistakes and kept it close all game.

Naturally, fans took to Twitter to completely blast Dak Prescott about his performance.

Look, I've been critical of Dak Prescott before. I still firmly believe that he is not the best quarterback in the league and lacks the accuracy to truly be an elite quarterback. However, this man's heart for the game is unquestionable. And, taking using the last minutes of the game to drive your team down the field for the win is clutch.

Texans coach Lovie Smith thinks Dak is "one of the best quarterbacks in our game."

To be fair to Dak, our defense seemed off, receivers dropped some balls, and there were quite a few passes knocked down. So the near loss is not entirely on Dak. And while I am still on the fence as to if I feel Dak is an elite quarterback in the NFL, he is a heck of a lot better than Cooper Rush. I said what I said.
