Arrow Ford in Abilene Selflessly Donates Two Engines To AISD LIFT Program
You already know that Arrow Ford is a leader in the automotive industry in Abilene. But did you know that they consistently participate in programs that better our community? Such as the case with their latest good deed, donating two engines to AISD.
Today (Tuesday, May 15th) the folks over at Arrow Ford will donate a couple of engines for the students of AISD to enhance their automotive education. How cool is that?

Arrow Ford will be presenting two engines donated by Ford Motor Company to the automotive CTE program at the AISD Lift Center. Abilene ISD administration, staff, automotive students, and Arrow Ford representatives will be attending the presentation.
The automotive program at the LIFT Center is the leading user of Ford’s Automotive Career Exploration (ACE) web-based training for students. The program increases interest and career opportunities within the automotive industry, ultimately as a service technician. There are no fees to educational institutions to participate in the Ford ACE Program. The only requirement for a school to participate is to be sponsored by a local Ford Dealership. The Ford ACE Program at the LIFT Center is sponsored by Arrow Ford.
Ford Motor Company has donated two 2.7L EcoBoost engines to enhance the training AISD students receive in the LIFT automotive CTE program. Students will be able to put the Ford ACE curriculum into practice through hands-on learning working on these engines. (via Arrow Ford)
The donation takes place at 8:30 this morning at the AISD LIft Center, 2034 Quantum Loop in Abilene.
That is so awesome what Arrow Ford is doing for our community and helping pave the way for future career opportunities for students. I love the fact that Arrow Ford is so involved in our community. From Teacher Tribute to teaming up with schools for programs to better our students, and our future. Kudos to you, Arrow Ford.
I only wish they had programs like this when I was growing up. Maybe I wouldn't be a DJ making $2.35 an hour plus tips.
