Who Is Peppa Pig?

Peppa Pig is a lovable British animated piglet who’s been entertaining children around the world for over 21 years. The show follows Peppa, her brother George, and their animal friends as they play, learn, and get into giggly mischief. It has become one of the most popular preschool programs, especially here in Texas!

Yes, Texans Love Peppa Too

At last year’s West Texas Fair & Rodeo, I met an Abilene ISD student showing off her FFA pig. She proudly named it Peppa Pig, and yes, it was a real pig. That’s just how much Peppa means to families here in the Big Country.

So when I heard she and George were coming to town, I knew we had to oink about it.

Peppa and George will be making special appearances at the Abilene Zoo on Saturday, June 28. Here's what the day's looking like:

• Piggy Tails & Pancakes at 8:00 AM

Kick off the fun with IHOP’s special breakfast inside the zoo, featuring pancakes, eggs, potatoes, fruit, juice boxes, and coffee for grown-ups.

VIP tickets will get you:

• Early zoo admission
• Breakfast with Peppa and George
