Yes, I'll admit it, I'm a grandpa. One of my grandchildren just graduated from college. While I'm a very proud grandpa and would love to share photos and stories of my grandchildren, I'll save that for another time. The reason for this article is a conversation that came up about whether a person can find a job without a degree nowadays.
The obvious answer is yes, there are a lot of jobs you can land without a degree. If you want a higher-paying job, most require degrees. Most importantly though, in my most honest, humble opinion, I believe that having a college degree is far better than not having one in today's world. Just stop and look around at how many job opening ads state that a degree of some sort is required.
