Cruise Night for Fall 2024 Is Cruising Back Into the Big Country
Cruising Down Memory Lane: Join Us for Fall Cruise Night 2024
Growing up in West Texas was nothing short of amazing. Every Friday and Saturday night felt like a rite of passage. After cruising around Mack Eplen's, I'd find myself parked in the old Kmart parking lot (now Turn Key Storage), watching all the classic cars and trucks parade up and down the streets of Abilene.
During my teenage years, I poured countless hours and dollars into my muscle cars. I have to admit, I was a Chevy guy through and through. Camaros and Corvettes were my passion, and I had the privilege of owning both. Some days, I still kick myself for selling them.
Snap a Photo, Relive the Past & Cruise from 5 PM - 7 PM
Now, every time I spot one of these sweet rides cruising around town, I can't resist snapping a photo. As I do, memories flood back, and I find myself wondering which high school buddy used to drive one of these beauties. I hope they bring back some great memories for you too. If you're longing to relive those days, mark your calendar for Fall Cruise Night Oct. 12th, 2024 from 5 pm until 7 pm.
On October 12, 2024, Townsquare Abilene is teaming up with the Keepers Car Club of West Texas for a day full of fun, excitement, and nostalgia. The festivities kick off with a car show at Clyde City Park, and after that, we'll cruise back to Abilene for the main event, cruising up and down North First Street.
