While attending the 2024 Big Country AirFest at the Abilene Regional Airport, could we possibly get a glimpse or a flyover from the newest addition to nearby Dyess Air Force Base? I'm talking about the new B-21 Stealth Bomber. That is yet to be seen. But the B-1 Bomber, B-52 Bomber, C-130J, E-3 AWACS-707 are all scheduled to do flyovers.

This year the aerial acrobatics portion of AirFest, usually performed by the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds, will not be part of the show. However other aircraft acrobatics like "Spanky Galloways' Extra 300" and Ron Cains' trusty "de Havilland Chipmunk" are scheduled to entertain spectators.

And do you want to go for a ride in a vintage airplane? This year two vintage planes are selling tickets for a scenic flight around the city of Abilene. Click here to learn more. My friend Steve Krazer with Big Country AirFest said, "We never know exactly who is going to be here for AirFest until the morning of the show."
