Ft. Worth Botanic Gardens – Hidden Gems of Texas
Every month of the year brings something amazing and new to the Ft. Worth Botanic Gardens. This is a beautiful place to spend a few hours or the entire day relaxing and seeing the wonders of nature.
Each season brings new flora and fauna to the gardens. We are approaching Spring with amazing greenery and flowers blooming. Summer months bring full gardens with lots of shade to relax in and the amazing smells of Magnolia and Jasmine, among others. Fall gives us the golden/orange hues of marigolds and some amazing varieties of lilies. Then winter captures all the evergreens, but don't forget you can always visit the Tropical Rain Forest which is always in bloom!
There are gardens of all varieties including the Japanese Garden, The Native Texas Boardwalk, Rain Forest Conservatory, Rock Springs Woods, Backyard Vegetable Garden and more. Each of these has it's own unique qualities with specific flora and fauna for it's region growing.
There are also educational programs offered, venue rentals for special occasions, a restaurant, gift shop and tours offered throughout the year. This is a beautiful and relaxing place to get yourself centered and away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind.
