WARNING: This video is somewhat graphic.

Several Tallahassee, Florida police officers are being investigated over allegations of excessive force.

The above video from WTXL-TV shows the arrest of 44-year-old Christina West, who was stopped at around 4 a.m. on August 10. According to the Daily Mail, West drove her car off the road and struck a house.

West is told to calm down when officers tell her to get out of their squad car. After she gets out of the vehicle, things take a turn for the worse and she is thrown to the ground. She screams and a few minutes later, she can be heard repeatedly saying, "My legs! My legs!"

A photo of West after the arrest, in which she is bloodied and bruised has also raised eyebrows.

In an interview with Tallahassee.com, Florida state Attorney Willie Meggs has described the footage "very disturbing."

"I am extremely upset," Meggs told the Tallahassee Democrat. "This is a very disturbing situation to me, and I’m dealing with it."

Tallahassee.com also reports that West's arrest was not included in the department's daily arrest report. Attorney Fred Conrad, who is representing West, is seeking compensation for West, who reportedly suffered a broken orbital bone and multiple cuts and bruises. One Tallahassee city commissioner has also told Tallahassee.com that the city could be facing a substantial lawsuit over the actions of its officers.
