Bryan Abrams of Color Me Badd was arrested yesterday (July 22) after he shoved bandmate Mark Calderon during their concert on Saturday night at the del Lago Resort & Casino in Tyre, N.Y. He's been charged with third degree attempted assault.

As you can see in the fan-captured video below, the incident took place upon the conclusion of "I Wanna Sex You Up," their No. 2 hit from 1991 that was included in the New Jack City film. Abrams, who had been in the wings during the song, returned to the stage and pushed Calderon over. TMZ is citing an eyewitness who said that Abrams had walked offstage earlier in the night because he was having problems with his voice.

According to the official police report, Calderon landed on some sound equipment and was taken by an ambulance to a local hospital, where he was treated for neck and back pain before being released.

Abrams was arraigned at the Town of Tyre Court and held at the Seneca County Correctional Facility, with bail being set at $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond. He will face charges on Aug. 28.

The singer has been arrested several times since 2006 on cases of domestic abuse, including a 2010 arrest after throwing his wife across a room in Hawaii and a 2012 charge where he punched her in the face and she also suffered injuries to her neck and thigh. Abrams pleaded guilty and was given a year of probation and ordered to get counseling for substance abuse and domestic violence issues. A year later, a warrant was issued for his arrest for failing to meet the terms of his probation.

As of press time, there has been no official statement from the band.
