Shay's Facebook Year in Review

While on Facebook I noticed they have a year in review button you can click and see what your 20 biggest events of the year were. I have no idea how it calculates or figures out your biggest and best moments of the year but it's pretty neat to look back. There were some things that I had already forgotten happened. At time's it seems the year flew by and others seem forever ago. My top 20 moments included the following:

Moving From a Flip Phone to iPhone

This was a huge step for me. I had refused to make the jump to an iPhone because I didn't want to become dependent on the device. I used my phone for phone calls! I caved in February though and now own an iPhone.

One Year Anniversary Being Cancer Free

In March I celebrated being 1 year cancer free. It was a big day and I even did a post to reflect on the past year.

Bret Michaels Concert

Bret Michaels from the '80s hair band Poison actually came to the Lucky Mule in Abilene and I was super excited. Poison was one of my favorite bands growing up. He put on a great show, but I think I'm getting a little too old. It was kind of loud!

Food

Apparently food was a big part of my year. I had more pictures of food than my friends. From my cooking ventures, advertising restaurants or just eating in general. I had recipes posted, photos of food after I had made it, photos of cupcakes, take out and more. I love Food!!

It wasn't a super exciting year but it went fast. I can't believe we are almost to the end of this year. Hope next year brings great adventure and many more great memories.
