Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Scott Braddock, editor of QuorumReport.com, joined the show to talk about several different issues in the state of Texas.

Among the topics of discussion were the huge news that the University of Texas and Oklahoma University will be leaving the Big 12 conference, as well as ERCOT and the Texas power supply grid, the Texas House Democrats who vacated the legislature during the special session, and more.

While discussing the Texas House Democrats in Washington, D.C., and the many threats that have been made by various Texas officials to arrest the representatives upon their return to the state and bring them to the capitol building, Braddock said,

If you are arresting people, threatening to arrest people if the do, if they were to come back in a good faith effort to try to work something out, hammer something out, if you're saying you're going to arrest them I don't think it incentivizes them to come back to Austin.
