Even though we're still in the summer months, back to school will be here before you know it.

Communities in Schools of the Big Country are joining forces with H-E-B for this year's Back to School Drive. This is the real deal. 100% of the proceeds from your generosity stay right here in the Abilene community.

Next time you shop at H-E-B just look for the Back to School Drive display at each register and let the cashier know you'd like to donate.

Investing in our youth is investing in our future

Communities in Schools of the Big Country is a non-profit organization dedicated to surrounding students with a community of support empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

They seek to help every student unlock their potential so they can unlock it no matter the obstacle. Each student's potential is developed by building relationships with caring adults who walk by their side connecting them with community resources designed to help them succeed.

Communities in Schools of the Big Country engage in personal potential so that every student can take charge and define their success. That way they can take charge of the future they want for themselves. 10 full-time success coaches work on 11 campuses in Abilene, Wylie, Snyder, and Breckenridge ISD. These coaches manage around 1000 students each year. The video below explains more about what Communities in Schools of the Big Country do.
