Just when you thought the NHL playoffs couldn't get more exciting, Alan Jackson has announced that he will be performing at a free show before the third game of the Nashville Predators Stanley Cup Final series vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday (June 3). The game will be Nashville's first home match of the Final series.

Game 3 between the Predators and the Penguins is scheduled for 7PM CT. The pre-game festivities will begin at 3:30PM CT, with Jackson scheduled to take the stage at 4:45PM CT.

“This is an exciting time for the Predators and the city of Nashville,” Jackson says in a press release. “As a fan, I’m proud to be included in their road to the Stanley Cup.”

Dubbed the Broadway Smash: Preds Party With a Purpose, Jackson's performance and the accompanying activities will kick off a series of watch parties for the game along Broadway in Nashville. The famous street will be closed between 3rd Avenue and 5th Avenue, and large TV screens will be set up for fans who don't have tickets to Game 3 to watch.

“Alan Jackson is a staple in the Smashville community," says Nashville Predators President and CEO Sean Henry, "and we know he’ll bring the excitement of our great city’s first ever Stanley Cup Final game to the stage on Saturday."

Both Jackson's performance and the Game 3 watch party are free to attend. The Predators are currently trailing the Penguins two games to none in the 2017 Stanley Cup Final series. This year is the first time in franchise history that the Preds are playing in the Stanley Cup Final.
