Allen Ridge, Abilene’s hottest new dining destination and retail outlet in North East Abilene is busy welcoming its newest restaurant the Biscuit Bar. It seems like every other week Allen Ridge is welcoming a new business. The newest restaurant will be opening this Friday, October 29th.

According to the latest Biscuit Bar news release, they will be welcoming guests starting at 8 AM at 2447 North Judge Ely Boulevard. The coolest part about this Biscuit Bar is that it’s the first one to open outside of the Dallas, Fort Worth Metroplex.

In my opinion that speaks volumes about Abilene’s business ethics, when a new franchise has enough faith and confidence in Abilene to venture out and open their sixth store right here in the Key City.

Wow, the first one outside of the DFW area is offering biscuit sandwiches morning, noon, and night. The Biscuit Bar also specializes in some southern cooking and salads if you want to go the healthy route. Plus they will be serving adult beverages too.

What Kind Of Foods Do They Have?

My favorite meal that I enjoyed while visiting the Biscuit Bar at their Ft. Worth Stockyards location was their French toast biscuit. It was covered with some kind of sweet vanilla and whipped cream. It was so good it will make your tongue jump out of your mouth and smack you on the behind with an atta-boy!

They do have a huge menu and offer all kinds of biscuit sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, and supper. So come hungry and get ready to become a regular. Stay tuned as we'll keep you up-to-date with all the new businesses that are still to come to Abilene.
