The Abilene Downtown Association will be presenting the 30th annual 'City Sidewalks' in downtown Abilene November 26th through December 1st.

This year's event will run a full week with lots of activities. Monday kicks off the festivities with a 6pm ribbon cutting followed by the lighting of outdoor downtown displays. Then there is tree trimming party at the SoDA District Courtyard.

Tuesday is the main event including the parade which begins at 6:30 pm. However, there are lots of activities before hand, starting at 5:30 pm including choir performances, hand bell, jazz band and orchestra performances from all the AISD students.

Wednesday don't miss Sidewalk Caroling. Thursday is ArtWalk and the Tour of Lights. Friday is shopping galore; buy local and keep our community financially strong.

Saturday concludes the week long event with the 5K Reindeer Run at 9 am, Family Fun Day and a Christmas Concert 'Holiday Pops' with the Abilene Philharmonic.
