The 2011-2012 High School Aerospace Scholar program has been launched by State Representative John Frullo. The program enables selected Texas high school students to visit and learn about NASA’s space program. Students who are chosen will spend the school year completing space-related internet assignments and will then use the knowledge gained from those assignments to spend the summer at the Johnson Space Center in Huston.

To be eligible for the program, the student must be a u.s. citizen and Texas resident who is currently a high school junior with an interest in math, science and engineering and access to internet and email. Students must also be able to commit one week in the summer to space camp. Those interested in the program can visit has.aerospacescholars.org.
