An epic drum battle broke out recently between the U.S. Marines and the Republic of Korea Army Band, and the awesomeness was all caught on video.

Benito Hijar, a trombone player at the III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF) Band, filmed a friendly drum line competition between his Marine Corps buddies and the Republic of Korea (ROK) Army Band.

After a coin toss, the South Korean band got the first crack at impressing the crowd. Not to be outdone, the U.S. Marines band get up in the face of the South Koreans as they finish the battle.

It was all in good fun though as the South Korean band actually started dancing and cheering along with the U.S. Marines.

Yep, patriotism was in full affect in this friendly battle. In the end, the band leader determines that the battle is a tie. So, everybody wins, including us who get to see this epic drum battle.

Who do you think won?
