What was once considered a kids game or a game for tailgaters is now a professional sport. The Texas Cornhole League Championships will be taking place at the Abilene Convention Center this weekend.

Cornhole competitions are so serious that ESPN covers them as you'll see in the above video. Take note as to how the reporter thinks it's easy at first.

League President Chad Jacobson, says the sport has grown considerably in the last decade. What was once a simple bean bag toss, is now a sport with all kinds of rules, sponsors and $5,000.00 for the winners.

Cornhole competitions are taking place from coast to coast. No need to hit to gym to get good in this sport. Chad say "all you need is a little practice, a good eye and a consistent toss."

To get in on this event, simply sign up and bring your best game. There's also a 'first responders' and seniors only league.
