As the COVID-19 pandemic drags on, the Texas State Teachers Association (TSTA) has asked Governor Greg Abbott to leave it up to school districts to decide whether or not to require children to wear masks in school.
Soon, local governments and school districts in Texas will no longer be able to issue mask mandates due to an executive order signed by Governor Greg Abbott Tuesday (May 18).
Today, the mask mandate and mandates on capacity limits on all Texas businesses are gone. That means that now citizens get to decide if they want to wear a mask when they gather together. It means that businesses get to decide the best practices for their business moving forward...
