Memorial Ride & Harley Raffle for Stacy Horton-Sanchez Oct. 7th

The word 'devastating' doesn't begin to describe the pain that we all feel following the loss of one of our own.

Stacy Horton-Sanchez left this rock Saturday, September 22nd at 4pm following her courageous fight with cancer.

Stacy was a gentle, yet fierce soul. Art was her passion. Music was her escape. Her children were her life. Her husband was her soul.

Stacy loved her family, friends, students, and colleagues immensely. She lit up every room she entered.

With innocent humility, she had a commanding presence that everyone loved and adored.

I could go on and on about Stacy without even scratching the surface of the person she was - alas, my final words "We all love you and miss you. The skies are now the canvas for your eternal art".

We will be hosting a fundraiser to honor the life of Stacy and to help Stacy's husband and children as they battle the dark, emotional days ahead.

Please join us Sunday, October 7th for the Stacy Sanchez Memorial Ride. We'll leave from the Firehouse Bar & Grill at 2pm. Motorcycles will lead the group while all other vehicles are welcome to join. Along the ride, we'll make a few stops as we share our love for the family while sharing stories about Stacy.

There is no entry fee for the memorial ride, but we will be accepting donations from anyone willing to give to the family.

Following the ride, we'll end at the Firehouse for drinks and a raffle drawing for a 2007 Harley-Davidson Street Glide, which was donated by Bill Clark at Free Ride Motorcycles. The raffle drawing was originally set for September 29th, but out of respect for the family, we moved the drawing to October 7th, following the memorial ride.

If you'd like to purchase a raffle ticket for this Harley, you can get them at Absolute Perfection Day Spa, Leedy Dental, Free Ride Motorcycles, and Townsquare Media studio during regular business hours. Each ticket costs $50 with only 250 printed. Proceeds from this raffle will go to Stacy's children.

We will also be hosting an online auction to help the family financially. We'll update this page with that info as it becomes available.
