As summer continues to heat up in Abilene and throughout the Lone Star State, we are all looking for ways to cool off. Swimply.com can help, by offering some suggestions. It's like an Airbnb but it's about swimming pools, thus the name "Swimply." They feature swimming pools that you can rent by the hour.

I love the Idea because, now mom and the wife can go swimming, wearing that swimsuit they would never wear in public. Because we are renting a "private pool" in someone's backyard. Yep, that is what "Swimply" features, homes and or stand-alone pools that are private and you can rent by the hour.

LOOK:! These Are Pools One Can Rent By The Hour In Abilene And Texas

While I was only able to locate a couple of home-rentable pools in Abilene, I found that there are hundreds throughout Texas, and you can find one to fit your budget and liking. The best part is, you can make plans to go to a Swimply pool in another city and maybe make it the halfway point for other family members to meet you there for a few hours of fun family time.

Some Pools Come With Other Luxuries From Hot tubs to Barbeque Grills

I've noticed that some feature barbeque grills, hot tubs, sunning lounge chairs, pergolas, and other fun amenities to make your experience even more exciting. Check these out, there are Swimply pools in all fifty states. Who knows, this could be a way to take a fun, short, and affordable vacation.

Pick A Pool And Make It A Completly Private Experience

The pools range from $50 to $150 dollars per hour and more depending on the location, what amenities a pool has to offer and how fancy you want to go. Check them all out and have fun swimming.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
