Fishing for laughs: Jessica Simpson isn't shying away from her infamous Chicken of the Sea flub from early-aughts MTV series Newlyweds.

Simpson, who very memorably asked ex-husband Nick Lachey whether she was eating chicken or fish (there was internal argument about which way the brand name pointed) in 2003, spotted a headline recently that drummed up the memory. Fourteen years after her own gaffe, she noticed Whole Foods made a similar error when the company mistakenly sold chicken salad that contained tuna.

"It happens to the best of us @wholefoods," Simpson captioned a post of the story to delight of followers. "This is fantastic. So much yes," one noted while another wrote "Love this!! If you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at?"

Simpson previously (and equally hilariously) acknowledged the moment in November 2016, when she reposted an image of a chicken in open water with a caption that read "Maybe Jessica Simpson was on to something?"
