Not only are Jay-Z and Diddy the richest artists in hip-hop, they are also the wealthiest artists in America.

Earlier today (Dec. 18), Forbes reported that the two rap moguls are among those to grace Forbes2018 Wealthiest Celebrities in America list. The business magazine’s third annual list is a culmination of yearly earnings of some of the most powerful celebrities in the entertainment.

Hov finished in fifth place with an estimated $900 million. His net worth rose up to $90 million since last year thanks to his investments in the liquor business with Armand de Brignac champagne and D'Ussé cognac. Jay's management and touring empire Roc Nation and streaming platform Tidal also make him money in the past year as well.

His good friend Diddy wasn’t too far behind. The Bad Boy Records mogul came in at No. 8 on the list with $825 million. His earnings came from his ancillary businesses like Ciroc and Revolt TV.

Among the other top money-earning celebrities that graced the list included television mogul Oprah Winfrey (No. 3, $2.8 billion), NBA icon Michael Jordan (No. 4, $1.7 billion) and golf legend Tiger Woods (No. 8 at $800 million).

Jay will most likely place higher on Forbes' list next year. His On The Run II tour with his wife, Beoynce, reportedly racked up $253.5 million in earnings this year. The four-month long tour began on June 6 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, and finished on Oct. 4 in Seattle.
