The Abilene Zoo is honoring all branches of the military on National Armed Forces Day Saturday, May 20th. Military personnel and their families will get in free all day.

In addition, Dyess and other local dignitaries will begin the ceremonies at 9 AM with opening remarks, the singing of the national anthem and the presentation of the colors.

Plus, the "Surviving Families of Fallen Warriors" are hosting two 5k runs in conjunction with the 'Zoolute to Dyess' on May 20th.

This fun family event is free to military and their families.
